Transformation Tuesday

Statement necklace redo!

what you need:
bubble necklace- mine is from Charlotte Russe
gold chain with a clasp
extra jump rings (I broke one of the originals)
needle nose pliers

Rachel and I were up chit chatting the other night after her day of shopping (see her instagram for what she got !! ) and I had mentioned to her that I never wear this one necklace I have. Sent her this picture

and she replied with "its cute" I agree...but its just too big. I love a great statement necklace but this big beauty just wasnt sitting pretty ON me.
I had an idea!!!!
so at 1am I started deconstructing the necklace and this is what happened:

TWO STATEMENT NECKLACES!!!
I took the tiers off of the necklace, removed the beads and added them to the original strand.

then I connected the gems from the tier together to make a second necklace, attached the beads to the bottom and chain on the side. VOILA!! Two beautiful statement necklaces!

I'll be mailing the smaller one to Rachel to add to her neckcandy.

Heres how I styled them:

Now I have a necklace that I'll definitely wear! You can also make a bracelet or earnings with the left over gems.

- always, Stephanie
